Located in the center of the village of Saly Koulang, newly opened by a French-Senegalese couple, LES CALEBASSES offers around a closed and fresh garden, 6 bedrooms, large, bright and confortable, with individual bathrooms, fans, screens. For a stay in the most pleasant way.

LOCATION :
Saly Koulang is a fishermen village, 80 km from Dakar (we do the transport between the airport and the guest-house).
In the nearby Saly touristic resort, there are everything that may be needed : shops, chemist, doctors, supermaket, restaurants, internet, casino, night-club.

TIME THERE :
First rediscover the pleasure of taking your time and simply appreciate days, taking sun on the large terrace roof or on the nearby beaches.
We will invite you to discover and take part of the village life : days punctuated by the return of the fishing boats, the celebrations of all kind with music, dances and beautiful women in colorful clothes, the long talks around the making of the ritual mint-tea, the lively markets, friendly craftmen...... You will also appreciate the family cooking of senegalese and french recipes (made with fresh products : fish, seafood, fruits, vegetables).

LEISURE :
There are plenty. We organise as you wish, for group or individual, with people from the village, lessons of :
- Senegalese cooking
- African dance and music
- Days out fishing
- Trips in the area (Ile de Gorée - Lac rose - Joal - St Louis)
You will be able to enjoy all the nautical sports : wind-surf, flying-surf, sailing...
and also horse riding, golf (18 holes) and many more.

CLIMATE
A dry season from november to june, cooled by the trade wind, freshing down in the evening. Temperature on the coast : around 28°celsius during the day, and 18° the night.
A season of rain from july to october with temperature above 30°.

There are banks for change and credit-card withdrawal.

Fishing is opened all year long without permit (except for underwater fishing).

In Saly : service of ambulances and helicopters. There are doctors, dentists and chemists very well supply.
